Early 20th Century Childs School Desk and Chair with a Drawer underneath the chair made of solid oak and wrought iron.
This chair called a "Moulthrop" by Langslow Fowler Co, Rochester, NY. They manufactured chairs in the 19th century into the 20th century and this particular style was made during late 1890 to early 1900's. (I looked up the manufacture and this chair is in the Smithsonian-lots of info available online)
Its in very good condition. Please see pictures for details. One side has some damage (see picture) and was possibility repaired at one time. This desk belonged to my son's best friends Great Grandma, but beyond that, i have no idea where it came from. Best estimate is from 1900-1919.
