This is RAW unfinished steel and will tarnish or rust if left this way. These may have a machine oil or smell to them have not been polished or cleaned to avoid any rusting before being used. Please clean them or wipe them down and let them air out before using. I recommend painting with a metal primer & paint any color you need or to leave as is, use a matte or satin clear metal finish.
